* ENC Charts (NEW, Early Access) - Over 2,000 of NOAA's Electronic Navigational Charts, vector-based, downloaded to your phone and available offline. Tap any point for details. Night, Dusk and Day chart colours, and Dark Mode.
* Coast Pilot - NOAA Coast Pilot volumes, available to view and download for offline reading, with sailing directions, hazards, and port information the charts alone don't cover.
* Assistance - Basic information around distress calls, your position ready to read out or share, and quick access to U.S. Coast Guard Navigation Center resources and NOAA's online chart viewer for boaters.
* T-Satellite Optimized - for T-Mobile T-Satellite customers, the app is optimized to be used while off-grid when your device is connected to a satellite. Performance is limited to what your service provides.
Whether you're planning a coastal passage or need charts on hand with no connectivity, NOAA Nautical Maps keeps NOAA's own chart and publication data ready when you need it.

NOAA Nautical Maps is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NOAA, the U.S. Coast Guard, or any government agency. It is for planning purposes only and is a supplementary navigation aid. It does not replace official charts or safe navigation: always carry an official, up-to-date means of navigation. Charts can be out of date, phone GPS and compass can be inaccurate, and depths are from past surveys. These ENC charts are not official ENCs. This app is not an emergency service: in an emergency use VHF channel 16 or call 911.
About Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC)
Electronic Navigational Charts are vector data sets supporting all types of marine navigation. Originally built for large commercial vessels using Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS), ENCs are now standard on simpler chart plotters used by recreational boaters too — providing real-time positioning and collision/grounding avoidance.
NOAA ENCs comply with the International Hydrographic Organization's ENC Product Specification and cover nearly 2,000 charts across U.S. coastal waters and the Great Lakes. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers produces the equivalent Inland ENC (IENC) product for many U.S. rivers.
About NOAA Coast Pilot
Coast Pilot volumes are NOAA's official supplement to nautical charts — narrative sailing directions covering channels, dangers, port facilities, and regulations that can't be shown on a chart alone. NOAA Nautical Maps lets you download volumes for the regions you need and keep them available offline.
